Piano Internal Cleaning Brisbane

Dust, hair and small debris collect inside pianos over time. Careful internal cleaning improves presentation, keeps accessible moving areas clearer and provides an opportunity to notice moisture, pest or wear concerns that may otherwise remain hidden.

About the service

Cleaning that respects delicate materials

The inside of a piano contains sensitive felt, timber, strings and action components. Household sprays, wet cloths and strong vacuum contact can cause damage, so methods are chosen for the area and condition of the instrument.

Internal cleaning is not a restoration service and cannot reverse corrosion, staining or established pest damage. If a specialist treatment is needed, the concern will be explained before additional work is considered.

Common questions

Useful answers
before you book.

Can I vacuum inside my piano?+

Avoid placing a vacuum nozzle directly against strings, dampers, felt or action parts. Professional cleaning uses controlled methods around delicate components.

Is cleaning included with tuning?+

A basic visual check is part of the visit, but thorough internal cleaning is a separate service that should be requested when booking.

Can cleaning remove mould or pest damage?+

These issues require assessment first. Cleaning may remove loose material, but established damage or contamination may need specialist treatment.
